Call for papers: Health Promoting Settings in the 21st Century: New Approaches and Competencies to Address Complexity and Inequity in an Increasingly Globalized World
This call for papers is for a special collection in Frontiers in Public Health Education and Promotion. The collection will focus on new developments in health promoting settings in policy, practice and theory, and how they address issues of social inequality and inclusion, especially in view of the impact of COVID-19 on socio-economically disadvantaged and minority population groups. The collection also aims to strengthen the evidence base on what works for whom in which context, and welcomes articles with a focus on resilience, adaptation and sustainability, as well as the competencies that are needed to plan, implement, and evaluate these settings-based approaches in health promotion.
